Help identifying Suede Jacket!

Hi there, I'm quite new here and I'd love to learn! I recently thrifted this suede jacket for $11 and immediately fell in love with it. I noticed it had a teardrop lightning zipper, no size indicators or brands listed. It fits me as an xs woman, but I'm just looking to find what era it came from as I'd love to get more into it! It's quite dirty too so I'll be consulting my local dry cleaner on a price point for cleaning & maintenance schedule. Any advice is appreciated!

1970’s would be my guess. It’s a bit like the semi Quasimodo jackets that were popular with women then. Vintage means all things to all men and even the nineties are seen as vintage by a lot of people now.

I’d be cautious about taking it to a dry cleaner. Suede is not the most robust leather and dry cleaner’s have a spotty record of properly cleaning even the best of leathers. I’d see what you can accomplish with a horsehair brush and maybe look into gentle treatments for removing any odors there might be.
