That FAI A-2 was already 24 by that time!

Yep, that was my point.

Back then you could buy them in good wearable condition. But not so much now when all that time has passed. I don't just feel old BTW, I am old.

Know the feeling as regards eighties, just bought a 1986 avirex shearling, I couldn't have ever afforded this when I was 18, giving my age away here haha but in 3 years it's 40 years old, not the oldest I've owned or ever, I once owned a original French and Indian wars, redcoat militia jacket, but you get the point
