Absolutely ,but if you pay the price,you can potentially lower the shipping and duties charge.

Yes the international shipping system is expensive. The general rule for us here in the UK is don't buy anything from the USA. Import duties and VAT are horrendous

Not only… PayPal for friends…return policy ( quite often abused ) Crapola bay is also quite fun about all of it
Ask Wz ( and all others ) about his ( their ) opinion.. sure there are good reasons.

Buy directly.. use the fastest possible courier service.. 48H West Coast to anywhere in the UK… no time for invoice and/or customs etc…( did it already from Charlotte NC to Manchester .. not West Coast I know.. anyway..) .. so by experience . Pay approx. 140 GBP extra highest priority courier ( ontop of the regular postal price)…
Save 500 GBP tax duties VAT etc… simply no time to check..
Done recently with a BR B-3 in 44” value 1900 GBP.
