If you're interested in any particular jacket that isn't up on the web site, just email John that you're interested in the jacket (36 Werber) and he'll get back to you.

Not sure if this one is for sale.
John mentioned he liked the pattern a lot and was going to be making one for himself with dull russet HH and golden brown knits.

I mean that John said the jacket may cost more than his other A-2 contracts when ordered.

Is it our business what he pays? he buys lots of GW jackets, I'd imagine a smart vendor would recognize this sort of customer loyalty with a discount. Either way, good for him.

To non-customers not really. But to those who are enduring the long waits and paying full price it may. Some might say that those outside the 'inner cirlce' are subsidising those on the inside. Interesting to see you so quick to the defence. ;)

Entirely. Hence the reason I have never 'bought in' to the hype.

So fess up, you jumped offline and quickly rang JC. He just popped online for a rare look at the forum...

Quick to defend what exactly? Call out a stupid post? Guilty.

Inner circle?
Regular customer?
Buddy?
None of the above. In fact, I'm still in line for my very first purchase from GW/JC. Although I've had a couple GW in the past, they were second hand and worth the "hype".

What's your beef? That's a better question. I'd imagine that a handful of guys here that have 8, 9, 10+ GW jackets have become friends with JC. Well there's a crime!
