I’m pretty much set on the dubow per JCs recommendation. My problem is deciding the color/knit combo. I like the seal/dull purple and russet/mid brown equally well. I might just have to flip a coin the same as I did between getting an AVI and FiveStar. I’m not kidding, when I ordered a new jacket last month I flipped a quarter and it came up tails for a FiveStar dubow

Very dark seal cowhide 16160. The grainiest thing ever! Softer (more pliable) than most horsehides - perhaps a tad heavier but hard to tell.
