G&F M-422A

Took a couple of pics of my G&F M-422A this morning and thought I should post 'em. Looking pretty good this jacket. I replaced the Korean era Talon with a M-42 Talon but otherwise have just treated because some spots a bit dry. It's got a bit of surface cracking in the right elbow, but otherwise is pretty good wearable condition.

There has been some stuff replaced on this jacket. Lining probably in the fifties. Zipper was replaced by a early fifties Talon. I replaced that with the correct M-42. Knits are not correct. Maybe Depot. Anyways it is wearable. That's all I wanted.

I don't know local experts who know how to treat a jacket like this. I know a few people who can sew, but they don't know what they are looking at when they look at a historical piece like this.
