That's cheap for him!! What happenened to his previous eBay name then? BTW, he's also selling a probable 'fake'/repro 1964 Beatles UK tour jacket, I've never seen these 1970's-type satin American jackets sold in UK during that early period.

He was getting a reputation for dishonesty and had some poor feedback I believe -hence the change of name.

Andrew,

If I might say, it may be true that this seller may in fact deep dishonest. However, my take on this seller is that he may actually in the end be doing folks like you and me that enjoy this vintage jacket collecting a service. I say this with confidence as I have personally witness and competed for a same early 1950s USN G-1 jacket and lost the jacket to this same individual. Later this same buyer and now seller offered the jacket up again at more than twice the original paid price. Then if you can believe that the BINed price was actually paid by a buyer, this seller got his nickel!

So it seems to me that this particular seller and other's like him are in the end actually providing a positive service albiet at what expense  by increasing values.

Cheers, Dave

Interesting view here Dave. I know the guy charges high prices, but what concerns me is what he doesn't say about a jacket! The sizes are often exaggerated and wartime jackets are listed as pre-war!

Is this the same seller as allamericanhero? I thought he was in southern California somewhere? sierrapawn states his location as Independence CA, which is a tiny town out the in middle of nowhere!

He states "Mouton collar has one or two dry spots; Although, this is hardly worth noting". To me it lloks like a dead cat that's being lying at the side of the road for a week.
