Is this an actual G&F jacket?

The seller sent me a picture of the label. It looks like there was once a white tag along the left side (like the one on Eastman jackets) which has been torn off.

It has a contract number of "NOs416-A". Was there such a contract? The few photos I have seen of G&F labels start with "NXs".

it'an Eastman jacket, i asked for a photo too, you can see a bit of the white tag that was once attached to the label.

Yes, NOs 416-A, or NXs 416 .... both are correct.

The collar also has that Eastman look to it, kinda more angular than roundish on the corners. Is that mold on the mouton?

As I understand it M422a's all have more pointed corners than most G-1s. Not to say that everyone is wrong and that this is definitely original-- I'm guessing they're right and it's not-- but the angular corners thing I thought was a WWII/later distinction, not an original/repro distinction.
