View attachment 12412 I think I can squeeze this one in here-one of my favourite photographs which is why I picked it for my avatar. I’m pretty sure these guys are pilots going by the Irvins and the goggles. Irvins, cigars and a Vincent, what could be cooler?

I love that photo Mikey. Like you I reckon it's one of the best.

It’s easy to see why that’s your Avatar. Looks like a couple of guys having a fun time and I’d be willing to bet there’s a bottle of fine liquor in that back seat guys hand.

Interesting photo Micawber, any idea why he's being dunked by his buddies? Completed his missions maybe? Birthday? Lost a bet?

Spot on, finished his tour so in the Jeep trailer of water he goes, they sometimes hosed them down with the firetrucks at Bassingbourn as well. I don't have names offhand.

Yeah, it's called the "Fini Flight". Usually nowdays it's reserved for guys when its their final flight for retirement or some other reason.

Mine was from a guy in my section with the hose from the fire truck. My dad got the same when he retired but he managed to drag a friend into the way of the water blast.
