Fried Ostermann Co. M-422A with "Tall Dogs" patch

Recently acquired Fried Ostermann Co. M-422A with squadron patch. This jacket was featured on page 217 of "American Flight Jackets, Airmen & Aircraft by Maguire and Conway. Waist, cuffs and zipper have been replaced and it was done very nicely.

With so much exposure did you locate this 'by chance' or via a publicised Militaria sale/auction? As opposed to eBay or the like?

A bit tight on me, but with a little weight loss, it will fit nicely.

The leather is actually really nice with great patina.
