Told you about the Wrangler pro rodeo series the cowboy cut look..Cowboys.. sat most of the time when they ride horses and the pro rodeo jeans are high waisted, just my 2 cts
Pike Brothers Germany do some great vintage cut trousers at a good price...my go to now www.pikebrothers.com
Just be careful though because they sell the odd low cut too, always stated in the product description though.
I went to Toulouse today and bought 3 pants!
- one Lee jeans (high waist)
- a light brown chino (high waist too)
- a beautiful 1947 Edwin jeans regular (original cut from 1947)
And I'm very happy because all 3 fit perfectly with the Hartmann jacket ! No more problems with the length of the jacket.
Thank you for convincing me not to change the length of the jacket...
I will take pictures tomorrow.

Bon travail Kermit!
That really is the most beautiful jacket and arguably one of the best looking "flying jackets" so you're a very lucky fellow.
I made the mistake of showing my wife the photos of your jacket and she said to me, "why don't you get a jacket like that. That's way better looking than all those other ones you have."
Fantastic, K3D! So is your jacket quest complete, or are you going to stick around and explore other styles (or other FC jackets)?
I have a question on this subject : What are the most beautiful replicas of A-2 ?
... I'll have to save my money 2 or 3 years to get one !
Ça manque de photos ici !
I guess the best A-2 repro are made by John Chapman from Goodwear leather
