Not to resurrect an old post, but the shoulder on the reproduction looks just shy of an inch longer in that photo. That will put the overall shoulder width at 1.5" or more wider than the template, yes?

I own one of those RW since a couple of months - ordered size 46 "off the shelf" in HH - well i learned i'd need to go one size up for the next one other than that i'm in love with it ...
since i don't have any reference i did not notice any differences in the shoulder width

Sorry, I’m about 4 yrs late to the party. But I was pleasantly surprised at the care taken in the detail of Five Star Leather’s A-2. I ordered a RW 27752 for Christmas last year and received it in just a few days. It was Shawn’s pull up brown HH version. HH is very nice and soft. Thick and robust but soft. Five Star’s was my 2nd A-2 since my 1st A-2 from Aero Leather back in ‘02. I had a seal brown Aero back then and their HH was great.
i‘ve mentioned in another post about the true reproduction authenticity of Talon zippers. That’s my only problem with Shawn’s choice in zippers on his jackets (if he in-fact uses these zippers on all his jackets) is that the zipper pull is still a little off from the shape of the originals. He did get the zipper stops right though. I would be curious to know if he would go the extra mile and start sourcing better reproduction zippers for future jackets. This small detail would bring his jackets to a much higher level, again IMHO.

Anyone know how to get ahold of Shawn? Have two questions regarding products. Specifically a vest and the AN-6550 flight suit. Wanting to order one but the sizing chart is worded oddly so don’t want to get the wrong thing to have to send it back.
I emailed and PM’d and never got any info. Sure they are busy folks. Just want to make sure I’m going about it the right way.
