I am not sure if this is comparable to the previously known "premium goat", as Shawn has made this leather especially for the Dubow jackets...if I understand it correctly, then this is what the Dubow jacket is made of....no other options at this moment...(well, as we know Shawn, he will make you a Dubow in sheepskin if that's what you want, but....)

Does anyone know which color knits Shawn used for this jacket? It may be the lighting but it doesn’t look like the seal, mid brown, or russet colors that have been mentioned so far for this jacket.

Sorry, I simply don't get it...we could agree that there is a gold standard...and yes, it's Good Wear.
But not all can / will / like to pay the price for one of John's jackets....the reasons may vary, but why piss on something that others seem to enjoy? And even more, why do it at the exact place where they seem to enjoy it?

The picture I posted last night also show thre great stiching!!! Actually more well done than any original.

I was not upset at all, just bewildered, I had never seen this done. This would be a great marketing point for Shawn to show this detail.
