Back on thread, surprised no one’s mentioned the epaulets which look quite long/wide too, assuming as it appears, they are same size jackets?
My early ELC suffers that problem and infact when I gave the measurements to JC when buying my GW Doniger, he said they were more akin to a 46-48” when its sized 42”! Although more a 44” now with the years rolling on, the shoulder seams on that ELC ‘house’ still sit too low rather than squarely on the shoulder, unlike the GW Doniger and was probably the first apparent fit variance I noticed but certainly makes for a more comfortable feel in addition to preventing the often seen too severe crumpling above the wrist knits, great though for those with long arms I guess!!!
