Hey Marcel your next to last photo of Pilot in TBM Avenger has the decal for USMC unit VMSB/VMTB-143 , this was theer first design, they later had the winged Captain America with shield/sword standing on top of a Torpdeo, first time I've seen the emblem on thier bird very cool to see !

Yeah, not too sure what he's wearing. Might be an Irvin...the collar at least looks like one. But more likely something he picked up/had made on his travels.
