Hey Guys !
It’s not very often I’ll gush about a product or item that’s commercially available but this is one that’s worth taking a look at .
I got it from Amazon and it will make all of your jackets and knits look great. It removes the pilling and bobbles from your old knits and makes them look new again. I highly recommend it . Check out the photos .

Unfortunately, I didn't take before photos, but the knits were pilled pretty significantly. To the degree that I was contemplating having them replaced. I just made sure to very lightly go over the surface with the knits being flattened. I assume that you could royally screw up the weave if too heavy handed.

Spot on Luke. Theres really no need to press very hard when you’re shaving the knits . Just a light back and forth does the job for you.

Gently does it is the way on delicate knits, even on chunky sweaters, my vintage version will snag threads if it is pressed too heavily.

Burt, yes it’s a wonderful tool, and cheap too. The alternative is to pull the offending pilling off and that’s much worse. This cleanly cuts away the pilling and doesn’t tug the weave at all. As for using it sparingly, my tailor said you’ll get many bites of the apple before should even think of getting concerned. If you’re like me, you’ll go through your clothes just hoping to find “bobbles” to destroy. It’s that satisfying.

Totally agree with you. Used properly this thing will rejuvenated those pilled up, lined up knits and make them look like new .
