Half of my ( male) family spent time “invited” by Mr. Stalin, ...( 1943-1946) and uncle Ho....1952-1954.
Some ( my wife’s civilian relatives) were crushed under allied bombs in Lorient, Caen, Brest (1944).
The others just barely survived all this hatered and messed up periode, like millions of others...
I had the great honor to meet the Serbs in Bosnia a few years ago...still carry a few very deep “ tattoos” from this periode of time...
But all good now...
Looking forward... not only backwards... but respect and honor to all who deserve it...
