ebay UK ELC RAF Jacket 44

I don't think the photos do the colour justice. I think the seam tapes would be more of a chestnut brown in the flesh.

That's very similar to the one I briefly owned, bought from John Lever and sadly too small. Hard to tell from an original. The seam tapes aren't really that red. Was tempted myself, but talked myself out of it-I really want another B-3.

That was just me having my bit of fun. These jackets are very difficult to photograph, the seam tapes come out red when they are chestnut brown.
If it's not for me, I'll offer it to the forum.

I certainly think the item 'undersold' price wise. The jacket looks in great shape, and for the price, can not be faulted.
I listed one a while back and never touched $600. Those bids were exploring the reserve only in my opinion. Given
the shipping from Australia I knew I was pushing it uphill. The 40 I have here struggles over the WPG Service
Dress and Battle Dress. Fine over my ELC RAF jumper. But not the 'look' I am after.. Might have to see how well this
one goes WRT layering? You could have a potential buyer right here. I am tracking a BR B-10 at the moment, otherwise
you might have had some competition. Enjoy!!

I put in a maximum bid of £400 and just let it ride, I think it was worth that much so was quite surprised that there were no big bids and had won the auction this morning when I turned on my computer and had won a bargain.
The seller should have listed the jacket Worldwide.

The jacket was quite dirty so I washed it on a cold cycle in pure liquid soap.
One of the earlier ones it is quite dark with chestnut seam tapes as Andrew suggested, and is a very nice version with curly golden wool and slightly longer arms.
