Ebay-Goodwear SAT A2 Jacket in Size 46

That’s a pretty rare jacket, even for that vintage. JC has only made a couple of the SAT contract jackets. Unlike RW or Dubow, of which he has made a ton. I can see why it fetched a fair price.

Clearly the case. I bet the seller was surprised too though. We exchanged a couple of messages and he told me he was expecting it to get £450 or so.

Four sniper bids in the last three seconds. The rarity of the jacket would have seen the snipers elevate the one off late bids. Always s tussle. The buyer will be happy-ish. Puzzled no doubt. Under bidder will either be thinking he should have gone higher or that he may have been fortunate..??

I found the opposite true in the size 42 SAT he made for me. It was cut long in torso, much like early photos.

perhaps he was more willing to make something flattering in a smaller size...

If so ( Crapola Bay is listing several of those as a.m.... almost mission impossible at a decent price... Covid-19 is not helping them at all..).
