Google Translate is quicker to use, but doesn't always work so well. The URL above I changed to .com first, but it isn't necessary ... just saves signing in to other eBays if you're adding to your watch list.

It's on Italian ebay but the heading of the category is in French -

The winner placed a very high bid (probably near the price as new) when the jacket was "only" at 260 euros.... Then someone else wanted that jacket badly... Oh lucky seller!

Perhaps its all the publicity the Werber has had here recently persuaded to bidders to place OTT bids.

Well, that's true to an extent. I put three bids on it which were immediately superceded. I figured it was worth the risk (of not fitting quite right) if I could save a couple hundred dollars. But Gary at ELC said it wouldn't be a problem to exchange sizes, so I figure I'll buy new.

I sure don't understand why it went for so much, though. But good news for the seller!
