Nice, too big for me but it looks smashing.

Is that a true representation of the colour? The pics on the ELC site look way different.

If that were my size I'd be bidding, I love the contrasting light knits and the Hookless. I have to admit I'm half tempted to go for one of these.

Just noticed the label lists Beacon NY as site of manufacture. Wasn't Werber in Newburgh, NY?

Anyway, a very nice jacket.

AIUI, the Beacon factory burned down under suspicious circumstances about 1935.
Werber Leather Coat then reorganized as Werber Sportswear, moving to Newburgh at that time.
Aero Leather, also in Beacon, was supposedly a Werber spinoff or had a family connection.
