He said it was the only one he'd seen. :roll: I sold one just like it on ebay some months back, and I've seen 3 or 4 others on ebay over the last few years. There is collector's interest in the Avirex jacket art A-2s, but not the kind of money this guy is looking for. You can easily get at least $200.00 for one of these.

I had an Aero (Scotland) A-2 with a hide and color exactly like that. It was smooth FQHH but I couldn't get myself to like it. It would not break in & develop good grain. I finally sold it on ebay.

I think he paid $1700 or £1k for it which was way OTT IMO. He might have inflated the original price as a sales ploy!
