How many times I've wanted to say that.

it has all the right keywords, so it's not like it goes unnoticed outside this forum. there are lots of people outside the forum who look for Eastman and Irvin jackets, even if a couple of members here want to have a go, they still have to bid against all those that just search for Eastman and Irvin jackets, you can see the type of things the highest bidder(s) have been bidding on.
because it's friday night and people are usually out and could not place a last few seconds bid, that'st why i said it maybe going cheap.

I wish my 'reliatives' would give me stuff like that!

The only way to get any kind of bargain is on UK only sales. That is why this one could well have remained a bargain, and bidding was very slow up till a few hours ago.
I suppose we all like to think that we are the only ones who have spotted a bargain. For most of us ebay is now almost dead. There are very many professional ebayers, people who buy to sell on or for their clothing shops.

i don't think it could have. this bidder r***s ( 143) placed one high bid on both jackets at just after 18.00 and left it, didn't bid again. someone with almost 150 feedbacks would know what can happen in the last few seconds. probably because he wasn't gonna be at a computer when the auction ends. even if he didn't know or hadn't placed the high bid, there were others who were willing to bid over £300 for the Irvin, but he did win the A-2.

Too much to pay for one of the "Eastman" contracts IMO. Not their best.

it seems in general that bids have been very low on many jackets I have seen until the last minutes. Perhaps even more folks are sniping these days than before.

The panel configuration was off putting to say the least.
I often check out who is bidding and what their activity has been on other items. Some bidders have bids on 20 items at a time .

My recent experience of Ebay has been exactly this. No bids until near the end, but I often list jackets high to start with which I know deters many, but avoids a reserve and the associated fees.
