Colvinex Flight Jacket/Military ? In Large Size

deeb7

Gone, but not forgotten.
This coat has never been touched; cut; altered, or made from another Colvinex flight suit, as some CHEAP AMERICAN A**HOLES wish it to be. You cannot fake fine, original leather-work.

It's exactly what the offensive seller says it isn't ... a cut down, USN M456 flight suit, circa 1943-1948.

Post war they had little practical use, so many were modified into jackets. Our own Marcel has a small collection.

Buyer comes off a real crank.
CHEAP AMERICAN A**HOLES
[and then, a little lower down]
No canadians.- Lower 48 only.
Makes extravagant claims with no backup. And gives no info, or even any curiosity, about Colvinex.

i sell mine for 1/2 the price

it's not the first time i saw such high price for this kind of jacket.

seriously now, just wait to buy a complete flying suit for approximately 100usd and if you wish a jacket, request your wife or a girlfriend to transform it

the model of this seller is not the most beautiful for me and cutting the suit by this way; he loose the trousers

The seller referenced Mare Island in his posting. That reminded me: one summer while in college I worked at Mare Island as an electirician's helper. We were installing welding plugs in one of the drydocks, and there was the Nautilus--world's first nuclear-powered submarine--recently arrived for decommissioning. No one seemed to notice history right in front of us. The electrician who pointed her out did not seem to know her significance. "Just an old sub." I guess that is how a lot of 'history' happens.

History is either something you learn or something you live.

For working people, in this country, it's mostly something they live. Before their time is "just old."
