Looking at the stitching on the epaulets, collar and pocket flap shape, I'd bet it was a Chicago made Dubow!

Cheers Grant. That's some keen eye for detail there. While I can see that the shape of the pocket flaps to be distinctive of the Dubow, I would not be able to see enough detail in the stitching pattern to draw any useful conclusion on the jacket's pattern. I've got to get me either's Gary's book on the A2 or J.C.'s CD!! Has anybody got a spare copy of either that they are considering moving on?

This is not so rare as it seems (I'm talking about miss-matched hides ) - my Eastman also has same.
On the thread question - if wind is not strong my collar is down : ) if with the wind ... of course up.

Dave is right, it's most probably not coffee. In most groups it was fairly normal to offer a snifter after a mission, usually whiskey.

The guy third from the left's eyes says it all.
The guy with the cigar is wondering if he should attempt it, he may catch fire...
