I'm still new to U.S. kit, but isn't this a civy AN-J-3?

I prefer the A-2 style windflap, but I think this size 40 might be too big for me, even though I do take a 40 in some jackets.Skip said:Here's a link to one John had that I bought and am now selling, very comfortable jacket, large collar. I just prefer the Navy zipper front.

This one just arrived from the US - somewhat astounded (no import duty, no handling charges… ), but pleasantly surprised.
Regardless of whether 1940s or 1950s (doesn't really matter to me as I simply wanted a period goatskin AN-J-3 to wear), it feels very good indeed - beautiful condition (little wear at all, aside from some minor moth nips to the cuffs/waist).
Also great fit too - my last goatskin AN-J-3 swamped me, but this one is much, much better.
