The only one who's ever commented on a flight jacket I was wearing turned out to be a B-24 flight crew member! :oops:

I wish I hadn't been focused on a mission for my wife at that moment -- I'd have asked the gentleman out for a beer.

Regrets, I've had a few.

This was designed especially for the 1934 flight and was seen on each plane and on aircrew jackets. It was worn proudly long after by these crews. This flight was made with Martin B-10 from Washington to Alaska, mainly over un-mapped territories in Canada and Alaska.
