Does anyone know the wale count of the BR 37J1 or the type of cloth they are using?

It’s grosgrain (jungle cloth) but I have no idea what the wale count is.

A B-10 is an intermediate jacket. The 37J1 is wafer thin... minimal lining.

Good comparison. My M-41 sees me well into fall with a light jumper underneath.

It arrived! First impression, it is roomier than I thought it would be...my G1 is a 46 and fits more snugly than this baby but I guess when I have broken it in it will give me a great fit. Just like it looked on the guys in the Dive Bomber movie...
