They both have beautiful Rough Wears- although Spencer Tracy's seems to be cut off and made shorter somehow- watch the movie and you'll see. 100% sure Spencer Tracy wears a 18091 and I think Ward Bond wears one also but it could be a very new 1401p. This is a great jacket movie- all the jackets are issue jackets- no BS repros like in many other 40s movies.

Spencer Tracy's is cut off or altered somehow- he didn't have a standard WW2 flyer build.
For some reason the Hollywood or 40s fashion people or whatever felt that the stars should have big balloon pants and short little jackets. Gable did this too ditto Jimmy Stewart. It even carries over to Gregory Peck in "12 O'Clock High". His custom jacket's made with wide shoulders and a short body.
