B3 Who Makes The Best

Indeed, a shearling machine is different than a standard industrial or compound feed machine. If you look at originals, or even an ELC, you'll see the unique overlock stitch that joins panels. I thInk it's the same machine, adjusted to a narrower and closer stitch, used to join smaller pieces together to make usable panels on some jacket and trouser examples.
I doubt the market is as strong for shearling goods as it is for A-2s.

All I'm saying is I wouldn't bet against J.C. Time will tell. I am not at liberty to say anything more. ;)

I have only seen one example of Lost Worlds B-3, I loved it. The leather was thick and HH panels had tons of character. I know LW gets a bum rap on these forums but the jackets are nice....

I've tried to get in touch with him about the B6 he was going to introduce, some time back, and had no answer either on phone or email. Has anyone talked with him lately (or heard whether he still plans to make fleece jackets)?

As far as I know the B-6 is still in the pipeline.

To confirm-- John got back to me (I'd been using his old email address because I usually just hit Reply, without knowing there was any other) and he is still planning on the B-6 when he gets past his problems with getting the shearling.
