B-25 Yellow Rose ( CAF )

About an hour north of me is the CAF Central Texas Wing hangar. I got a lot of pictures earlier today, and I'll start with the B-25, Yellow Rose. This ship is in flying condition, and the first time I saw it was about twenty or so years ago -

I'm going to put up a couple of different posts for the other aircraft and kit in the museum portion of the hangar. Hope you enjoy.

Heh...
Thanks. It was one of those things where the pictures were almost an afterthought, because you're so amped up just being in and around the plane. Just a few minutes and I'll have the other AC up in a different post. Crawling up through to the bombardier's position was particularly exciting ( and at 6' 200+ lbs, a tad awkward ). I was initially a little concerned about the jacket, but then I figured, "That's the only REAL way to break one in...", so pretty soon I wasn't sure if it was all that close, or if I was intentionally trying to rub some history on myself.

Thanks for the fantastic pics, looks a little tight for someone even marginally tall.
