I too am wondering why this seller is not singing this jacket's praise.

Dave, the seller is not a dealer in militaria and probably does not have a clue about what the jacket is intended to represent.

To his credit, at least the seller isn't trying to perpetuate what may be a decades-old ruse--or perhaps a perfectly legitimate tribute to a hero, like Dave's jackets. If original, the 101st patch is likely worth a decent amount by itself.

Until someone finds a photo of McAuliffe in a badged up B-15 and then we have a new dilemma on our hands !!
