After @Brettafett and @B-Man2 sugestion , I decided to pull the trigger on an atf fleece lined tanker
I’m very lucky coz a friend who lives in the states gonna visit Greece next month and he will bring it to me !!
I’m looking tips regarding sizing
I’m 1.90cm (6.2) 90kg
43-44” chest
Used to be 42-43 butGain some weight lately
Atf customer service suggested to go with Large but I would like to get a feedback from n owner with close to me measurements!
Normally I wear XL in european tops and xxl in all Asian

Thanks in advance
Cheers

I have owned a large and XL.. Your chest/weight sound very much like a Large, with the only concern being the length possibly too short for your height. And that's sometimes an issue with tankers in general. These ATFs are quite roomy and oversized - in an XL you'd be swimming - they fit up to a size 48. Decisions decisions

I wear a size 46 or sometimes a 48.
I can wear a Large tanker very nicely or I can wear a size XL and layer under it . I would agree with Alliance . You would swim in a size XL. I have a 45 inch chest and I weigh 220lbs and stand 6ft 1 inch tall .

As the owner of 2 ATF fleece winter combat jackets I'll just add this warning from experience -- do NOT wash the jacket in warm water and do NOT dry it in a dryer -- hang it to dry only!

I dried mine by accident (wasn't thinking) and the jacket definitely shrunk. That said, it was a large and (as has been pointed out) was quite roomy. The shrunken jacket actually fits me a little better now, but I still wouldn't suggest experimenting with shrink-to-fit.

The second jacket is still new and is backup for when the first one has seen its days. But I'll not be chancing another turn in a dryer!

Thanks u all for the replies.
I’m new to the forum and everytime I see that is full of kind ppls!
Regarding the jacket,
The length on L is 68cm like my a2..I’m more worry about the sleeve length cos is 64cm and my “safe sleeves” starts from 66cm
Don’t know if the b swing back gonna help with the sleeves

I'm 1,80/ 1'81 73kgs 40" chest
Mine is a medium and it fits pretty well, lengths are ok for me, but couldn't be any shorter.
Theres room to layer with a light sweater if needs be.
Crazy comfy & warm jackets, mine still gets lot of winter wear.

Suggestion. Why not get a L AND an XL, that way you know for sure.
Yes, it will cost you to return one of them, but its a small price to pay for KNOWING which one fits best.
These are NOT expensive jackets, so it evens out. They certainly are worth it.

You could email and ask them if they would help with a discount (they sometimes have sales). as you will be returning one.

Alternative... is the one you receive does not quite fits as well, then it's a real hassle. Sell? Wear? Return? Buy another?

The problem is that a friend who lives in the states gonna bring it to me and he is not having space (in the suitcase) for 2 jackets
My only worry is for the sleeves on Large …it’s about one inch shorter than my “safe length”
Does it have the “b swing” effect n sleeves like the m422a?

I understand your problem ;)

Its a conundrum for sure.
What would be the lesser evil? Potentially short sleeves or more room in body?

The Tanker's pattern does allow for a bit of easier arm motion.

Edit: I've just tried mine on and the sleeve length are OK. Lifting arms is no problem.
But I wouldn't want them shorter.

I'd kindly ask @B-Man2 for a fit pic. At 6'1 thats close to your height. Perhaps Burt could take a pic with the L and then with the XL.

Short sleeves on tall pls is disgusting..the “swimming” in jacket the same ..
it’s a military gear though and I can sacrifice the sleeves for a more trimmed fit
My height was helping me on girls and basketball when I was younger..now is a disadvantage in this “hobby” lol
The suggestion for a photo from @B-Man2 is great !!

The back definitely helps out the sleeves. I'm 6'0 and never had issue with the size L arm length. If anything, my XL sleeves are too long.
If sleeve length is the lesser of the two concerns, trim fit being the other, I would for sure go with a size L. Just my 2 cents.
