If you're looking for investment pieces, collect originals. Some repros hold their value better than others, but they all lose a minimum of 15% of their value. And that's not even factoring in inflation.

I bought a B-6 last week. People like myself who can afford but I don’t like overpaying for stuff even though I can afford it. But after handling and ordering the other brands I view the McCoy as an investment piece that will hold its value. I will still be able to sell it for close to the price I paid in 5 yrs time if I don’t wear it often which I won’t be.

Problem with a lot of these (including Real McCoy's) is that companies are always making new versions, whether with improved materials, improved design, repros of different contracts...Even specific jackets aside, which companies are favored changes as they make other new jackets, adjust prices, etc. There's certainly a subset of the market that approaches them as fashion rather than as militaria collectables (and there's certainly nothing wrong with that), but the militaria collectables demographic is large enough that it's still very much a different industry than fashion (even high quality, designer fashion)

Have you checked to see if everything is aligned properly on your B-6 ?
