Another new RW 27752 in seal by GW

I recieved this beauty in February and finally convinced my son to take some photos. It was well worth the 14 month wait. As I requested, John made it a bit roomier than my previous GW Acme/Aero 16160 and it is very comfortable. My only criticism, which is a small one, is that the knits are not quite as nice as the earlier jacket, which were outstanding. Pardon the quality of the cellphone camera.

Very impressive GW there. Did this photograph more russet than it actually is? I REALLY like the reddish-russet hides. And I contemplating another A-2 in the new year. Is it more russet in natural light?

Hi Couchy,

Good observation.

Although the photos of the jacket on the bench were taken in natural light, I'd have to say that the actual color is distinctly dark brown with little evidence of russet. It is actually much darker than my Acme/Aero, which is also seal.

What an awesome GW you have there. John's jackets just keep getting better. I think the knits look fine, just like those used on originals and much better than the knits he used up until two years ago.
