Not a bad repro though- like your Foster it has the little line on the pocket.

It's Pakistani with a faux collar so $349 is a bit much. But pattern and sewing look good.

I’ve said that for years . Unfortunately at some point the cheap prices and these vintage jackets are going to dry up and then the prices will go up .

yeah, its just a matter of time before the pre 1960s g-1s begin to fetch close to original a-2 prices. and.....repros go down in resale prices, as they always do.

True Mr Silver Surfer, buying a true vintage from 40s or 50s can be a pure roulette where jacket hide can be very dried out or if buyer is lucky enough the hide can be still in great condition. Anyway it is always worthy trying to take risk, I remember some great examples where bargain jackets were almost like new
