Aces High - UPDATE!

Hi guys,

Well, it's been a very frustrating year of switching sheepskin suppliers, finding new leather and getting new zips. After lots of waiting, things are finally coming together. The new zips have arrived, so I'll be busy the couple of weeks finishing off the first few customer jackets and getting them out before Christmas!

Here's a sneaky peak - more to follow next week!

John, yes these are the zips which LL have supplied. It's been a very long development and production process, but they are great!

Here's a quick photo of an almost finished customer jacket (CryptoDave's). There's still a bit of work to do on it (seam tapes around where the the sleeves join to the body of the jacket, and the collar is just placed on to show how it will look when sewn on. Also, I need to sew the hems on the sleeves, make the leather zip pullers, etc.

Not a great photo, but it's starting to look like a jacket now! It should be finished on Wednesday, with Søren's jacket being finished hopefully by the end of this week/early next week. Then another one finished by the end of next week.

Hopefully Dave and Søren will be as pleased with them as I am. They have both been very patient as it's been a long process, with the wait for various materials.

Right, I'd best get back to sewing!

Dave's jacket is now finished!

I'm really pleased with how it's turned out. Here are a few photos of the jacket before it gets packaged up and shipped off to Dave. Søren's jacket should be finished next week.
