This arrived in the post today. Amazing GW Sheeplined circa 2008, using Japanese HH avec a Crown zip. I tip my hat to JC.

I purchased it as the size was exactly the same as my last wearer, from five years ago . Unfortunately, time coupled with a diet of fois gras and oysters is clearly a bitch. I'd like to think le gut crept up on me. This A-2 will now be a key component of a diet regime.

Looks good and fits,Don;t worry I'v got the pregnant beer bump also and the WWII fit shows this more than a modern fit does. This is the year we are going to get in shape.

Looks great Simon, had a double take at first cos I thought it was one of my old pics. This must be the first selfie you've ever posted in all these years. All you need to do now is scrape yourself all over that stone wall to remove some of the topcoat and it'll be sweet.

Keep up the oysters but ditch the fois gras.

It looks fine. I'm working on some weight loss this year. Can't wear some of my modest collection!

Dude, I know exactly how you feel! And no amount of dieting or exercise seems to help!

Funny you say that, cos the first thing I thought was that I looked just like a headless Andrew. Hope life is treating you well.

After a week wearing this I've decided it's too small in the shoulders and across the chest. Alas, it's off to Ebay tomorrow night. Bloody nice jacket but c'est la vie. If anyone in the UK is interested in buying at the price I purchased it for (436 gbp) then I'd be happy to pull the auction and pass it on at cost + shipping.

I don't know if it's a phone/tablet thing but I can't see the full pictures, so can't see the measurements.

Is the pit to pit 21 /12

Yes, more or less. I've given up taking measurements down to the mm or 1/4 inch since they're always wrong. The aim was to simply lay out the measure across the jacket and then people can 'see' for themselves.
