I ran across this Monarch A-2 up for auction. It's a named/patched jacket in a lot with of paperwork, pamphlets, etc. As you know by now, I'm not particularly A-2 litererate, but it appears in good condition.

The grouping includes a lot of information about the owner including his records, war maps, DFC news article, his outfit, etc.

Looking further at this auction site (Centurion Auctions), there are over a dozen WWII ers A-s, patched and named, and a few modern ones. Probably worth a look.

You have to wonder about these guys description somewhat. They say the Monarch has a Crown zipper, but it actually has a Talon zipper. Which is correct of course. Attention to detail is important when you are going to shell out a few thousand bucks.

I don't know who writes the descriptions for the items. Could be the consignee or the auction house. Often the consignee doesn't know exactly what he or she has.
