I saw this nice set for sale at The Wehrmacht forum and maybe a member is interested:

To see the pics of both jackets you will probably have to register at the forum.

Here's the description:

WW2 USAAF B-24 Bomber Pilot's Uniforms, 703rd Bomb Squadron, 445th Bomb Group

This uniform grouping belonged to 1LT Paul Aikin who served with the 703rd Bomb Squadron, 445th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force from 24 April 1944 until 13 August 1944. The grouping includes LT Aikin's named A-2 jacket, Officers Blouse with pilot's wing (unmarked clutchback), ribbons, shoulder patch, brass and a copy of his service record from the national archives.

The A-2 was made by Poughkeepsie and is a size 42. The lining, waistband and zipper are original. The cuffs are period replacements. The jacket shows normal wear from period use. The top of the collar has worn through in places from use (shown in photo). The jacket has the decal on the left shoulder, 1LT rank and a namestrip on the chest. There are 2 other names inside the jacket and signs of other name tags having been attached. This is fairly common as these jackets were often reissued.

The dress jacket is unmessed with and is in excellent condition with no mothing. The jacket is named inside the inner pocket.

B-24 Bomber
- 35 Combat Missions as Pilot
- 13 Combat Missions as Co-Pilot
- 250 total hours of Combat flying time

Awards: (copies of General Orders for these are included)
- Distinguished Flying Cross
- 5 Air Medals (he only has 4 awards on his ribbon bar, he must not have bothered putting the last one or did not find out about it until later)

Qualified as Pilot on:
B-25
B-17
B-24
This is a really nice grouping to a Pilot who flew 48 combat missions over Western Europe. I am asking $1000 for the group.
