A-2 lining stamp ???

Does anyone have a pic of the circled wings and star stamped on an original A-2 lining??If so what size is the circle??

I've been searching for info on Inspectors stamps but haven't found much so I will post in this thread.

Has anyone measured an original flying Wing stamp? were they 2", 21/2" or both?

..and the smaller inspectors stamps. Has there been research into these and the number son them? Are they like firearm inspector cartouches, in which the Inspector and factory is known?
Can the manufacturer be known by the Inspector stamp if the label is missing from an original jacket?

I have noticed in photos some stamped in all black, some with the larger flying wing stamped in white. Is either correct?
