Hi all,

I'm brand new to this forum. I know nothing about vintage or military jackets. I just got this leather jacket at my local goodwill for $25 bucks.
My luck at thrift stores seems to be incredible and I'm thinking this might have been a steal!
Was hoping somebody could tell me about it-- what is it, when was it made, is it genuine?
The tag reads:
"
AIR FORCE TYPE
FLIGHT JACKET
A2

NAME: ________
WPL: 13701

"

I'm attaching several photos. Let me know if you need any more info.
Thanks all.

Not a military issued jacket. Standard commercially made jacket sold everywhere back in the 80s. It’s worth every bit of the $25.00 you paid for it . Wear it, enjoy it and beat the piss out of it . It will look better in the long run .
