IMHO tag stitching and stiching holes look to sloppy for an Admirals jacket…

Extra stitching holes can be after older patch with lower rank, not bad jacket, have seen recently more interesting pieces for sale with a similar price tag

Sorry to disagree…
As an Admiral …he surely receives (d) a jacket with much better craftsmanship than this.
IHMO the jacket is legit.. the name plate is a later addition.. for a better sale… the tag rounded edges and the lousy ( two thread ) stitching plus the ghost stitching holes all over.. no go … especially for an Admiral…but again IMHO.

There must be bad tailors too!
Tailor works on suits, please we should stop thinking about regular basic leather flight jackets like on some sophisticated tailored pieces....I believe that sewing machine operator should be more precise here. Really odd to see also a small paint stains on this name patch but who knows, maybe this admiral used this jacket off duty as well ;)
