Just painted this one this weekend. Traced the image onto leather. Drew the black lines with a fine Ponca pen then filled it in with Angelus leather paints. After that's done I finish it by going over the lines with a thin black striping brush & paint.
This will go on a jacket that I plan to paint in the next few weeks / months. Still deciding on whether to do my own fantasy nose art on back or base it on an actual P-38 from this squadron.
(Also in the photos is a cut and sewn leather 9th AF patch that I made last week. This will also go on the jacket.)
