have no provenance/origin for the previous image - i probably picked it off eBay. i would personally want to test the thread before investing a small fortune. just two patches from different sources using similar design, construction and material makes me think vintage. or could just be two reproductions by the same artist. i have no personal experience with patches from this squadron and would definitely do some research before bidding. maybe look for vintage photos,

nothing like "vet direct" for authenticity! looks like two of the bidders may have some insight about the age of the patch currently listed on eBay.
