Thanks for posting, nice to see it in colour.

Images at the end makes you think most of Germany, not to mention the low countries must have been in some form of ruin, and yet rarely have I read about what happened after. I suppose after 2 world wars and a depression in between no one want to hear about it, must have been very difficult times, and I imagine quite lawless in Germany after '45 for a while.

Im not sure about lawless, but I remember seeing documentaries about post war Germany, the people seemed to come together to rebuild, as they were somewhat embarrassed they were also held accountable for the Nazi war machine. So they knew they werent going to get much help from anyone, difficult no doubt.

A little off topic, but I remember reading somewhere that the black market was rife among all sorts of criminal activity until some form of national orginisation took place. Life was nonetheless very difficult
