The only information I have for this photo is the pilot's name, 陳炳, and that he was a member of the 23rd FG's 75th FS. Upon further research, he might be Moon Chen, who lived a seriously amazing life. Check out this article:

He could also be Jerry Chen, a fighter mechanic with the 14th Air Force who also flew as flight engineer on C-46s over the Hump.

Andrew has a thread with a Knopf A-2 from the 118th Tactical Recon Squadron - This would be the 'lottery' for me.

Hi Mr Brettafett,
with all your photos I wonder if you have anything on "Better Duck" .
about 40 years ago I purchased an A2 from Paul Robert who used to deal in jackets and memorabilia in Hebden Bridge (btw does anyone know anything about him now, have lost touch) . that had been painted up with name “Better Duck”. I have finally retired & got round to doing some research on the plane could only come up witha few items on google e.g from B17 register, that it was attached to 334BS of 95th BG based a while at Horham, Suffolk, and a single photo of the cockpit showing the name. So coming to you to hope you may have some time to see if you have come across any other photos of plane , crew or anything, attaching a couple of photos

btw it’s Labelled Bronco Mfg co A2 dwg # 30-1415 a.c # W535 ac 29191

Looks like a lot of raw camera footage probably saved for later US Dept of Army films. I like the sequence showing Claire Chennault. My friends father was in the
CBI Theater of Operations and knew
Chennault. I posted this a while ago but in case you missed it, here was his fathers A2 jacket. He replaced the contract label with a commercial label and convinced the supply people the jacket was a private purchase jacket that he purchased back in the US.
