WWII A-2 ?

The seller was honest in his title, insofar as he did not know if this was a WW2 A-2. From the pics what do the collectors here think ?

It looks authentic to me. Looks like a fairly to very poor condition late war contract.

Yes its an authentic A2, possibly the no-name 27753 contract.

Now that's the way to correctly break-in a leather jacket - get shot down and then wear it for a year in a prison camp.

I've just looked at the supersized pics and yes it may well be a RW 27752. The rounded pocket bottoms, square box stitching on the eps and collar shape would suggest a RW.

This one is not a Rough Wear though. Someone has sewn on a RW label when the jacket is either a Sheeplined or a Bronco.

THIS JACKET HAS BEEN DOCTORED ,the patch is brand new so is the name tag .They have been only on the jacket for a few weeks ,when you compare the condition of the painted shoulder roundel how could the squadron patch look so crisp .
