Was shooting for some 82nd Airborne patches for 12 bucks but they ended up being repops with plastic on the back for ironing. Looked like cut edge on khaki from the Craigslist photos. Anyway, I always ask for them to bring anything else they might have and she brought these for 10 bucks, I was able to find a California State Guard patch (pre - National Guard) an 8th AF, a 6th AF, and a 5th AF in a book of common patches as well. At least I got something. Whaddaya think?

Yup, found a close-up and that's what he's wearing. Otherwise nothing for Type F1, just this page from a 1946 Montgomery Ward catalog.
