Were individual jacket contracts linked to specific service branches?

Just wondering whether individual maker contract jackets were more likely be linked to a specific airforce branch? For example would a particular contract be more likely linked to the 8th or 15th airforce or would they just appear all over the place.

There is no evidence as far as I'm aware to indicate that the work of certain contractors went to a specific USAAF branch. You hear of a whole range of contracts appearing in the different branches of the USAAF. A2s were initially issued when guys were doing their initial training in the US prior to their assignment to a particular USAAF.
